Hi Team,
It is Brilliant! However as others have suggested I too would request the conversation be written and if vedios could be attached too. This way the Participant will be able to read and see how the body Language matches. This is due to the fact that most Language learners are Visual learners at first.
Also another request is that how do veiw the same website for the Indian learners?
Thanks in advance ! And yes Great Work Friend...
Have a nice Day!

"Must" generally is subjective and sometimes it is used in an order while "have to" is objective.
For example, here are two sentence:

You must carry your umbrella as it is raining outside.
You have to carry your umbrella as it is raining outside.

For the first sentence, maybe it is said by a mom to her child, so it is a order. Mom thinks the child must bring his/her umbrella, it is subjective.

the second one using "have to", maybe it happened between two friends, you have no way to do with that, you have to bring the umbrella because of the bad weather. So it is subjective.

Is it clear for you? If you still have questions, please let us know!
Thanks for your comment!

Hello,
I think speakers talk too fast in this lesson. It's very hard to understand what they are talking about.
Anyway pods are usually very good.

Hi Kris,

I like very much your website and your podcast.
They are so easy going and I like to listen them so much. I enjoy them and learn a lot from them. Great job.

I would like to ask more from the food/wine/service topic.
I work as a waiter in an Italian restaurant in Manhattan.
I would like to give more professional, better service to my guests.
I want to know more about hi quality service, hi quality language. I have 1 year experience in an upscale restaurant but want to know more and more.

Sincerely,
Christian

thanks a lot. i do really love "english on demand"

Our podcasts are talks between native speakers, so only the dialogue part has the PDF transcripts with all the language points. But thank you very much for your suggestion, we will consider about that!

Hi arun bhardwaj,
Welcome to EnglishPod!Hope we can help you to improve your spoken English!
Speaking in public is really a challenging task for a new English learner, but we think everyone can achieve that as long as you have mastered correct language skill and practice a lot.
But first of all, full of confidence of youself, only you have the confidence, will you dare to perform in the public to show yourself.
Second, you have to practice more by yourself, once you have mastered the language very well, you can blurt out when you speaking in the public. But remember, master a language need practice.
We can't wait any longer, let's do it now!

I really like here, and want to grow up with here, but I don't have enough money to pay for it, so,that's a pity.

Sinan,
Hi! We're so happy to hear that the podcasts have been so useful to you! We had to take a break from recording for a while, but we're back in the studio this week to get more podcasts, dialogs and scripts to you! Do not worry. Although we have an idea of what you would like to listen to, if there are topics you think we should cover, please let us know - we make these for you!

Thank you again for the support and keep the suggestions coming!

I subscribed this website only 2 days ago. I have already listened 10 dialogs. Are there 137 dialogs in all? If so, it is not enough for me!:) Is it possible to add more dialogs? Your dialogs and script are realy very useful. This is why I am asking to you for more and more.

I will take a listening exam in a few months. I think your website will contribute my success so much.

Best wishes to ondemand-english.com group.

Loïc.
Hi! Sorry for taking so long to get back to you, but great question! You are right, you can say both "It’s October twenty fifth" and "It’s the twenty fifth of October". The second one(the latter one) is something you hear much more in Europe than in the US. The difference come from how we WRITE the dates. In the US 6/3/07 means, June 3rd, 2007. In Europe, they would reverse the month and the date and would write the same thing as 3/6/07. Therefore, when we SAY our dates, we say them a little bit differently.

If you decide to add the day of the week. you were close but you missed one comma; it should be written as: Tuesday, October 25th, 2007

I hope that helps and definitely write back with any other questions!

Hi!

I'd like a few more details about dates.
So if I've understood correctly we can say: "It's October twenty fifth" (or: "It's the twenty fifth of October"). But don't we also say: "It's October the twenty fifth"?
Another question is about the writing. I think we write: " Tuesday October, 25th 2007" in any case. Is that true? Is there any other possibilities?
Thanks a lot for your answers, and now I go back listening to your lessons!!

Hi Emisan,
Thank you very much for your support and is there any suggestions we can hear from you?
To podcasts, would you please try again? You may close your Internet Explorer and open again to have a try. Or you can try to left click the files and to see if it is possible to download directly as different Explorer may cause different results, it means the results depend on which Internet Explorer you use.
If you have another problems or you still have problems with download, please don't hesitate to let us know!
Thank you again for your comment. Best Wishes to you!

Hi Xime,
Thank you for your comment and good question!

Both two sentences are very polite. But the word "please" is more preferred to use, like "Could you please bring..." and "would you mind please bringing..."

And these sentences are little bit different in meaning. The sentence "Could you bring..."is used when you don't know if the person can do or can not do and the answer is usually "yes or no". While the sentence "would you mind bringing..." is used when you know the person can do the matter but you are not sure about whether he/she is willing to do or not. So the meaning is little bit different.

Thank you for your question again, and if you have any other question, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Gook Luck!

A great lesson!

I want to ask you which of these phrases is the more polite manner to say the same:
